Welcome and thank you for visiting the official website of Hocking County Emergency Medical Service. HCEMS serves the citizens and visitors to Hocking County. HCEMS is the only Emergency Medical System within Hocking County and responds to all calls for medical service. In 2022 HCEMS responded to over 4,000 calls for service. Additionally HCEMS responds to structure fires as well as injury motor vehicle accidents where HCEMS dually provides auto extrication and exceptional patient care.
Hocking County Emergency Medical Service employs trained Paramedics, Intermediates and EMTs. HCEMS currently operates three stations to cover its 424 miles of territory, which includes popular tourist destination Hocking Hills State Park and the Wayne National Forrest ATV Trail System. Hocking County Emergency Medical Service has a long standing tradition of providing the highest standard of care to the citizens of Hocking County. They employ a highly trained and educated staff, utilize cutting edge equipment, and pride themselves on providing the highest quality patient care.
